The Cardiff Select team, led by experienced captain Trisha Parker, have already notched up wins against Wales Ladies “A”, Wales Ladies “B” and Cynon Valley men’s county team since being formed by Marilyn Crook in November last year.
The team consists mainly of ex Welsh internationals who have now retired from the national squad,( except young Kirsty Davies), but clearly not suffering from any loss of form.
In alphabetical order they are:
Cardiff Select started as they meant to go on with Natalie Bunce and Michelle Emery opening the game and winning both matches with the Cardiff girls going on to win the first session 10 - 1.
Players to win 3 out of 3 for the visitors were Natalie Bunce, Michelle Emery, Laura Pearce, Jo Jones, Dawn Covill and young Kirsty Davies who all turned in excellent performances.
Player of the match voted by Gibraltar was Sam Darker
The Cardiff Select Ladies team have now set their sights on the Scotland and Northern Ireland international squads, with more matches in the pipeline.

Cardiff Select Ladies team maintained their unbeaten record with an impressive 27 -6 win against Gibraltar ladies international squad in Gibraltar on 10th November.

They continued their winning form by taking the second session 7 - 4 and the third session 10 - 1.
Trisha Parker justified her position as captain with a great double in the second session and an 8 ball clearance in the third, a feat only matched by Natalie Bunce.
